An Opti-Myst fireplace is a type of electric fireplace that uses water and electricy to create a flame. An Opti-Myst fire creates an illusion of a flame and smoke by lighting up water vapours.
An Opti-Myst fireplace offers a highly realistic and safe alternative to traditional fireplaces, combining the visual appeal of real flames with the cleanliness and flexibility electric fires offer.
How does a water vapour fireplace work?
The flame in a water vapour fireplace is created by LED lights and water vapour. The fireplaces are powered by electricity and water. Install and connect the fireplace to a regular power outlet, add water to the tank, and enjoy your Opti-Myst fireplace!

Does a water vapour fireplace create heat?
An Opti-Myst fireplace is primarily installed to create a visually appealing look. Generally, there is no heat in these fireplaces. However, there are some models that have an integrated fan heater and can therefore emit heat as desired and needed.
On fireplaces with the option of heat output, it will be indicated in the specifications of the product.
How to install a water vapour fireplace?
Installing a water vapour fireplace is pretty straight-forward. You only need to plug it into a power source and if you purchased a Cassette Projects you also need to connect it to a water source.
It is also important to provide sufficient ventilation for the fireplace to function properly. The specific requirements can be found in the product's manual.

Does an Opti-Myst fire produce vapours in the room?
No, a water vapour fireplace doesn't produce a lot of vapours or humidity in the room.

What water to use?
It's really easy! Most of our Opti-Myst fireplace just use regular tap water. However, we recommend that you always read and follow your fireplace manual, as some manufacturers recommend using demineralised water in their hybrid fireplaces.
Do you service water vapour fireplaces?
Yes and no! You have a 2-year warranty on products bought from us. So, should anything happen with the fireplace within this period, we offer service and repair on the fireplace.
If the fireplace is not bought from us, we don't offer service or repair on the fireplace.
