Information about pallet delivery
At Bioethanol-fireplace.co.uk we send many of our orders as pallet freight. We do this to avoid transport damage and because large fireplaces cannot be sent as ordinary parcel post. As a customer, you should therefore be aware that your order may be sent as a pallet delivery.
Pallet delivery differs from regular parcel post in several ways. The delivery requires special vehicles and equipment, and will therefore only be delivered as curbside delivery.
When your pallet delivery is picked up at our warehouse, you will be notified via email and prior to delivery, you will be contacted by the courier via phone or email to arrange delivery. Therefore, make sure that the contact details on your order are correct and contactable.
Delivery can be arranged for weekdays with delivery usually taking place between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
In the event of a failed delivery attempt caused by the recipient giving wrongful information, no one being in to receive the delivery despite arrangments being made prior, delivery address not living up to requirements, etc. you will be charged for an additional delivery attempt or return usually amounting to £40, but can vary depending on product and location.
