Who is Heatstrip?
Heatstrip was established in 2004 in Australia, when Thermofilm's (1988) product design team found a new opportunity in electric radiant heating.
The first model was designed for indoor use and quickly became a success. The model was used by architects and engineers who used them for schools and commercial buildings.
After that, Heatstrip grew and they started producing outdoor heaters as well which also became a big success.
Heatstrip has subsequently made 6 series of products within: Elegance, Gas, Design, Max, and the new Intense. Heatstrip will always have just the products you are looking for.
Can a Heatstrip Patio Heater be used indoor?
Yes, it can be used as a source of heating for both inside and outside use. It can be installed on the wall, the ceiling or freestanding on a stand. All solutions are possible with the smart mounting brackets. There may be little recommendations regarding mounting height, and these can vary from model to model. Information on this and instructions for installation are given in the manual for each product.
The products are often used indoor because of the exclusive design. It is not coincidence that the two best-selling series are called Design and Elegance. Another reason for the frequent indoor use is that they do not emit any kind of gas. They run exclusively on 230v power and can therefore easily be connected without further consideration. Especially the hanging models are often used in the restaurant industry, but we also see the freestanding models being used, for example, in an entrance, where they stand as a floor model.
It can often be cold for the guests visiting a restaurant if seated outside. In this case a Heatstrip is both beautiful and effective. People notice the elegant heater and of course the comfortable heating.

How many watt do I need?
The manufacturer have chosen to specify how many square meters the individual patio heater can heat. The more watts the unit is equipped with, the more heat it gives. The bestseller model for a private terrace or balcony is between 1500 and 2500 watt.
As long as the effect is not above 3000 watt, the heater can be installed by private people. If it is over, an electrician must, for safety reasons, mount the unit. It is not only the amount of watt that can determine which model to choose. The performance and length go hand in hand. Typically, the smallest model of the three sizes is about one meter and then they gradually increase and reach a physical size of about two metres.
For this reason, the selection can also be increased, because there are physically not space enough for the heater. This can be the case, for example in restaurants and cafes, where a heater is often seen hanging over an outdoor table. A desk for 4 people should have a patio heater of 1.8 metres hanging over the table as it will otherwise be too hot for the guests.
Need any help?
Customer service at Bioethanol-fireplace.co.uk is ready to help and guide you choosing the right patio heater. It will be a pity to get the product home and subsequently find that it does not produce the expected effect in a particular room. This may be due to the length, which can be extended with an extension rod. Another dilemma may be whether a 2400 or 3200 watt is required.
On our shop, we highly value that our customers will achieve the full satisfaction after ordering and receiving a product. This applies to our category of patio heaters, but of course also to our fireplaces and accessories.
