Opti-Myst fireplaces are powered by water and electricity. The only thing the fireplace really needs is to be connected to a power outlet and the tank filled with water. The fireplace does not require authorised installation by an expert, and is very easy to maintain, while having minimal operation costs at the same time.
An Opti-Myst fireplace has many names - so don't be confused if you come across names such as, water vapour, vapour fireplace, hybrid fireplace or mystic fire.

This guide will tell you everything you need to know about the Dimplex Opti-Myst series. In the beginning, Dimpelx Opti-Myst was the most realistic water vapour fireplace. The electricity-powered fireplaces, manage to create some incredible, authentic, great flames out of water vapour. The fire itself is created by the water in the container being heated by the hot LED lights. Then a fog arises which, in the reflections of the light, creates an absolutely fascinating flame. The beautiful 3-dimensional flame of smoke is the closest we get to natural fire. But these artificial flames emit no odours or any kind of spills, and are safe in their surroundings. So there is no danger of exposing children or pets to the dangerous flames.
The many installation options make it easier to find the right place for the fireplace to fit in. They can among others be built-in or be wall mounted. They can also be something completely different, like a 2 sided one, so it can be seen from both rooms or used as a kind of partition. But if you want a fireplace that can stand freely it is of course also possible. There are also 360-degree fireplaces, so the beautiful breathtaking flames can be enjoyed from all over the room.
Dimplex Opti-Myst Pro burners
The built-in water burners can, as a standard, burn for up to 8 hours, with continuous operation. But if you do not want to think about refilling, then there is the opportunity to connect the Dimplex Opti-Myst hybrid fireplace to a fixed water installation. For safety, there is an overflow sensor installed so that the water automatically switches off at fault.
If you do not want the fireplace to be permanently mounted, there is also the opportunity of purchasing a plug-kit, so that the fireplace is more mobile.
Dimplex Opti-Myst fireplaces do not come with decorations. However, if you want a more realistic look, then we would recommend buying some of these for the fireplace. When you use the fireplace, the decorative pieces of wood will light up as if they are almost glowing. They create an incredibly beautiful, natural look, in between the steamy 3-dimensional flames. If you do not want to use these burners, you can alternatively place almost everything around the fire. It may be pieces of glass or other types of stone. However, DO NOT place them on the top of the steaming flames, but rather around the flames.
