Our Responsibility
Social Responsibility is of the utmost importance for us. The vision of Bioethanol-fireplace is, and has always been, to help our customers to be able to experience the cozy and relaxed atmosphere of a fireplace without harming the environment. We achieve this through our eco-friendly alternatives to the traditional fireplaces. This provides us with the perfect opportunity to help our customers reduce their CO2-footprint while we work towards doing the same with ours.
Our Personal Goals
As we strive every day to lower our CO2-footprint and become more sustainable, we have created eight goals which take the UN's 17 SDG's into account. The idea of these eight rules is to guide us on our journey towards greater sustainability;
- Maintain corporate policies that benefits the environment.
- Develop a business strategy that contributes to sustainable development which is beneficial for all stakeholders.
- Modification of production processes to emit less waste and emissions.
- Engage employees to be more dedicated about the environment and the change hereof.
- Encourage staff to carpool, use public transport or ride their bikes to work.
- Reduce food waste in our offices.
- Educate consumers about responsible consumption.
- Donate to non-profit organisations that support sustainability.
