Decoflame Monaco Square Lounge

The Monaco bio fireplace is a free-standing unit with a steel casing that resembles the Nice series in many ways. It comes in Square and Round shapes, and is available in both Lounge and Tower sizes. The fireplace can be secured to the floor to prevent movement, or it can come with wheels for easy mobility. The Monaco models have a single burner type that produces vertical flames, unlike other Decoflame models with more linear flames. The burner is filled with bioethanol and located in the center of the fireplace, and can be ignited with a long lighter. When extinguished, a lid and closing tool are provided for safety. Overall, the Monaco bio fireplace offers high-quality Danish design and construction.

The burner included with Monaco Square Lounge bio-ethanol fireplace

The burner included with Monaco Square Lounge is manual, which means that the bioethanol is filled directly into the flame opening of the Decoflame Manual burner.

Furthermore, the flames can be adjusted with the included operating tool. If less heat/flames are desired, the metal plate can be pushed partially over the flame using the tool - to extinguish the flames, the metal plate is pushed completely over the burner opening to smother the flames.

With a capacity of 1.7 Litres bioethanol, the burner in Monaco Square Lounge can burn for approx. 6 hours on a full filling. This gives a consumption of roughly 0.28 L/h.

If you do not plan to have the fireplace burning for 6 hours, it is recommended not to fill the burner with more bioethanol than you expect to use. Any leftover bioethanol will evaporate by itself over time.

Monaco Square Lounge heat output

The included burner has a heating effect of 1,5 kW. Normally one kW is considered to heat 10-20 m² (107-215 sq. ft.), depending on how well the property is insulated.

Decoflame Monaco Square Lounge installation

The Monaco Square Lounge bio-ethanol fireplace can be placed on any surface. It is free-standing and comes fully assembled. Therefore, you don't have to do any installation work for Decoflame Monaco Square Lounge.

The bio-ethanol fireplace should be installed with a minimum safety distance of 50 cm to flammable objects such as curtains and similar furniture. Directly above the fireplace, additional safety distance should be considered.
