Easy and Simple Installation of Acoustic Wood Panels
The installation of the I-Wood wood acoustic panels is super easy and simplified, so you can easily cover your walls and ceiling yourself. They are also made to be super easy to adjust if you need to adapt them to your project.
The wood wall panels are made from whole MDF boards, with the mouldings milled out of the front, so you have a whole board to work with. They are then mounted on felt.
The machining and adjusting can be done with a scroll saw or cross-cut saw, for example, and the wooden panels can be cut to both width and length. The felt is fitted between the strips. In the "plate" of felt behind, it is then possible to drill out for spotlights, lamp sockets and the like without extra work.
The I-Wood ceiling panels are made with finger joints, which means that the strips are offset from each other at the ends. This allows the panels to be butted together completely, so the acoustic panels flow into one, creating a unified finished look.
You can also find an installation guide here, which provides you with additional info on how to install I-Wood acoustic panels.

Acoustic Wooden Panels with Focus on Sustainability and Quality
I-Wood acoustic panels are produced with great focus on sustainability and quality. The wood used to produce the panels is sourced exclusively from FSC-certified dealers, which means they ensure sustainable forestry that focuses on plant reproduction, better wildlife and good working conditions.
In addition, the felt used to produce the acoustic panels is made from recycled plastic, which is collected from the oceans, amongst other things. The felt is also hypoallergenic.
Create Great Sound and Acoustics with Wood Panels
The sound quality in a room is important for the indoor climate in private homes as well as in workplaces. Therefore, it can be a good idea to look at the acoustics in the room and how to minimise noise to create a more comfortable sound environment.
This is where these wooden acoustic panels can be a great idea! Especially in large and open spaces with hard surfaces and high ceilings, covering the walls and/or ceilings with wood acoustic panels can be of great benefit, providing a more comfortable sound quality.
With I-Wood acoustic panels you can create a better reverberation in the room. The recommended reverberation of sound is 0.6 seconds, as a short reverberation ensures that sound is not bounced back and forth between surfaces in the room.
Below you can see that an I-Wood Pro+ acoustic panel gives a reverberation of 0.5 seconds, which is lower than the recommended reverberation. And to achieve the optimal effect of the panels, the rule of thumb is that the acoustic panels should cover the equivalent of 25-35% of the room floor area.
So if you want to create better acoustics and a more pleasant sound quality in your home or office, wooden acoustic panels could be the right choice.
