The elliptical design and supporting legs make it easy to move the fireplace around as needed, but only when the fireplace has cooled down. The Ellipse Floor is equipped with a manual bioethanol firebox as standard.

The burner included with Ellipse Floor bio-ethanol fireplace

The burner included with Ellipse Floor is manual, which means that the bioethanol is filled directly into the flame opening of the Decoflame Manual burner.

Furthermore, the flames can be adjusted with the included operating tool. If less heat/flames are desired, the metal plate can be pushed partially over the flame using the tool - to extinguish the flames, the metal plate is pushed completely over the burner opening to smother the flames.

With a capacity of 2,4 Litres bioethanol, the burner in Ellipse Floor can burn for approx. 7 hours on a full filling. This gives a consumption of roughly 0,34 L/h.

If you do not plan to have the fireplace burning for 7 hours, it is recommended not to fill the burner with more bioethanol than you expect to use. Any leftover bioethanol will evaporate by itself over time.

Ellipse Floor heat output

The included burner has a heating effect of 2 kW. Normally one kW is considered to heat 10-20 m2 (107-215 sq. ft.), depending on how well the property is insulated.

Decoflame Ellipse Floor installation

The Ellipse Floor bio-ethanol fireplace can be placed on any surface. It is free-standing and comes fully assembled. Therefore, you don't have to do any installation work for Decoflame Ellipse Floor.

The bio-ethanol fireplace should be installed with a minimum safety distance of 50 cm to flammable objects such as curtains and similar furniture. Directly above the fireplace, additional safety distance should be considered.
