How to Construct the Bioethanol Fire Media Wall
The most simple option for installation is to have a recess in the wall to place your bioethanol burner or Foco fireplace with a shelf under the TV. This way the shelf deflects the heat from the fire into the room instead of the heating rising straight up and into the TV.
Another option is to recess the TV. That way a shelf is not needed, and you'll achieve an almost flush end result.

Remote controlled Bioethanol Burner
It is also possible to install a remote-controlled bioethanol burner into your bioethanol media wall. This allows you to control the bioethanol burner automatically with a remote control. This means that you can enjoy your favourite show and switch the ethanol fireplace on at the same time - it does not get much easier than that!
You can choose between a manual and automatic bioethanol burner. The manual burners are manually operated, whereas the automatic burners are automatically operated by a remote control. You can find more information about the difference between a manual and automatic burner.

Wall Mounted Electric Fireplace
It is also possible to hang a wall mounted electric fireplace below a TV and thus creating a TV wall unit with electric fireplace. It will still be a fireplace TV wall but without the hassle of building a recess in the wall.
A fireplace TV wall cannot be combined with a traditional gas or wood stove fireplace, as the heat and fire would damage the TV. Because TV's already generate a lot of heat, there is a risk of reducing the TV's lifespan if the dissipation of heat is at a high level. So, it makes sense to hang a wall mounted electric fireplace or bioethanol fireplace on a media wall.
However, not all fireplaces can be installed on a wall with a TV hanging above it. The fireplace needs to be 'closed' at the top, as the heat will therefore not rise up into the TV. The distance between the fireplace and the TV also needs to be taken into consideration, but it is also possible to install a shelf between the fireplace and the TV to minimise the heat exposure that gets to the TV.

Suspended Bioethanol Fireplace and TV on Same Wall
There are some safety measures that needs to be taken when installing a bioethanol fireplace TV wall to ensure that the fire and heat does not damage the TV. This includes the distance between the fireplace or bioethanol burner and the bottom of the TV. If the TV is installed too close to the bioethanol fireplace or electric fireplace, is can potentially damage and reduce the lifespan of the TV. However, by following the safety measures, the TV will not be overheated by the ethanol fireplace.
Make sure to explore the various fireplace models to get a better understanding of which ones are best suited for you wall and the most optimal installation of a fireplace in a media wall. The bioethanol firebox is the typical choice for this type of installation and is relatively compatible with most interiors.
Then, there is the various one sided bioethanol fireplace, double sided ethanol fireplace, and the 3 sided built in fire. These are three examples of categories that may require a slightly different installation, mainly due to the different style they have. The potential of these fireplaces greatly depends on what the wall in question is capable of allowing.
