Decoflame Ascot Lux

The Ascot Lux fireplace insert is designed to be removable and can be placed on various surfaces, offering flexibility and practicality. It's an excellent alternative to traditional fireplaces and can be installed in the previous fireplace's shaft. As with other bio fireplaces, it doesn't require a chimney or flue, and the only limitation to its placement is following the recommended distance of 600mm up to the roof. The Ascot Lux range is available in three standard sizes, with two glasses that help stabilize the flames and reduce fuel consumption. Additionally, the bio fireplace is equipped with a manual bioethanol burner, allowing you to adjust the flame intensity according to your preferences.

The burner included with Ascot Lux is manual, which means that the bioethanol is filled directly into the flame opening of the Decoflame Manual burner.

Furthermore, the flames can be adjusted with the included operating tool. If less heat/flames are desired, the metal plate can be pushed partially over the flame using the tool - to extinguish the flames, the metal plate is pushed completely over the burner opening to smother the flames.

With a capacity of 1,9 Litres, 2,4 Litres, 2,9 Litres bioethanol, the burner in Ascot Lux can burn for approx. 7 hours on a full filling. This gives a consumption of roughly 0,41 L/h.

If you do not plan to have the fireplace burning for 7 hours, it is recommended not to fill the burner with more bioethanol than you expect to use. Any leftover bioethanol will evaporate by itself over time.

Ascot Lux heat output

The included burner has a heating effect of 2,4 kW. Normally one kW is considered to heat 10-20 m2 (107-215 sq. ft.), depending on how well the property is insulated.

Decoflame Ascot Lux installation

The Ascot Lux bio-ethanol fireplace can be placed on any surface. It is free-standing and comes fully assembled. Therefore, you don't have to do any installation work for Decoflame Ascot Lux.

The bio-ethanol fireplace should be installed with a minimum safety distance of 50 cm to flammable objects such as curtains and similar furniture. Directly above the fireplace, additional safety distance should be considered.
