Planika Porto Daze/Laurent
The Planika Porto Daze and Laurent fireplace has been tested for outdoor use by the manufacturer but not in Scandinavian conditions. However, at bioethanol-fireplace.co.uk we do not recommend that the fireplace is used outdoor all year round because of e.g., freezing temperatures and bad weather conditions. Our recommendation therefore is that the Planika Porto Daze and Laurent should be used only under covered terraces with the ability of moving the fireplace, protecting it and keeping it dry and frost free.
The Planika Porto Daze and Laurent is a freestanding automatic bioethanol fireplace that has been developed for outdoor use. All the electronic components in the fireplace are therefore waterproof sealed so the fireplace can resist rain and moisture.
The fireplace is built with a frame from the popular Dekton boards which have a finish in either white or black marble-look.
The Dekton plates have a thickness of 12 millimeters and are made of ceramics, quarts, and glass and provide a more resistant surface that is resistant to both scratches and high temperatures.
The Planika Daze and Laurent burner is based on the patented BEV technology which evaporates the bioethanol before it is ignited.
There is never direct contact between the bioethanol in the fuel tank and the flames of the fireplace. This also allows you to manage the flames from the fireplace in six levels.
The fireplace can be controlled by either remote control, the built-in control panel, or through an app on your mobile or tablet.
When the Planika Porto Daze and Laurent burner needs a refill with bioethanol it is easily done by replacing or refilling the 5 liters bioethanol container connected to the burner. A full refill of 5 liters of bioethanol provides approximately up to 14 hours of burn time depending on the flame level.
