Lasize, 2-sided Freestanding Bioethanol Fireplace
Lasize is a freestanding bioethanol fireplace from Dutch manufacturer Xaralyn, which allows you to see the flames from 2 sides of the fireplace. The design of Lasize makes it possible to use it as a small room divider or as a free-standing piece of furniture in the middle of the room.
Xaralyn Lasize is built in MDF and on this model it has been given a white paint.
With Lasize you get the freedom to move the fireplace around as you wish. Because wheather you choose it as a biofireplace or Opti-myst, there is no need to connect a flue or chimney. The fireplace weighs just around 37 kg. and it is therefore recommended that you are 2 people when moving it around.
Bioethanol burner
Xaralyn 5820LB Bioethanol Burner
5820LB is a bioethanol burner developed and manufactured by Xaralyn themself and has the following specifications:
- 2.0 litres capacity
- Approx. 0.5 litres bioethanol usage per hour
- Approx. 3 kW heat output
- Safety glass for both sides of the fire is included
- Lighter and refuelling funnel is included
- No need for electricity
You can also get the Lasize fireplace with an Opti-Myst burner. An Opti-Myst uses water end electricity to create "the flame".

Installation of Xaralyn Lasize
At delivery, the fireplace will be almost completely assembled. You will only need to fit the included burner. This is done by simply placing the burner into the cutout in the fireplace. Before the fireplace is ready to use, the glass needs to be fitted to the bioethanol burner or the Opti-Myst burner needs to be connected to electricity.
