Planika Forma 800 Island
Planika Forma 800 Island is a built-in bioethanol fireplace designed to be visible from all sides thanks to its 'island-like' design. This gives the fireplace a wonderful design with great visibility to its flames from all sides.
NOTE: The wall above the fireplace must be able to support itself. The Forma 800 Island carries no weight on its own.
Bioethanol burners
It is possible to choose between two automatic burners for this fireplace:
- Planika FLA4: up to 5 hours of burn time on a full refill
- Planika FLA4+: up to 16 hours of burning time on a full refill
Both burners have an accompanying remote control, as well as the possibility of WiFi and Smart Home System control. Additionally, they contain Planika's BEV technology, which makes usage cleaner, since the bioethanol becomes vaporised before burning. Furthermore, all Planika products contain a wide range of safety sensors such as a tilt sensor, 3 temperature sensors, an overfill sensor and a CO₂ sensor. All these sensors make Planika's burners incredibly safe to use.
Materials
Planika Forma 800 Island is made of galvanised steel, which is powder-coated black and tempered glass. This gives the fireplace a neutral and timeless design that will last for many years. The glass also protects the flame from drafts.
Included in delivery
- Automatic bioethanol burner (FLA4 or FLA4+)
- Planika Forma 800 Island frame
- Tempered safety glass
- Remote control
Installation
The installation of Planika Forma is relatively easy if you have a little technical skill and does not require any special certification. You are therefore welcome to carry out the installation yourself.
If you build the fireplace into a flammable wall, you should insulate between the fireplace and the wall. For this, we recommend heat-insulating plates such as Skamotec fire wall boards, fermacell boards or fire plaster. Remember to also draw power to the fireplace, as all automatic fireplaces must be connected to power. Lastly, here are some notes to keep in mind when installing the fireplace:
- The wall above the fireplace must be self-supporting
- Connection to electricity is required
- Install on a flat surface
Accessories
Planika Fires does not recommend using third-party decorative logs or stones with their bioethanol fireplaces, as this can cause overheating and damage internal components. Always use accessories approved by Planika for safety and optimal performance.
