Water Pump Kit for Faber E-Matrix and Dimplex Cassette

This water pump kit can be used for Faber and Dimplex automatic water filling systems. It can also be converted to manual filling if necessary. For manual filling, the water tank should be placed nearby and easily accessible for regular refilling.

Only use filtered/decalcified water with this pump kit. Ensure the appliance is on a level surface. Note that a sound from the pump in quiet environments is normal. The water tank, sump, lid, tank cap, and air filters should be cleaned weekly, especially in areas with hard water.

Pump Kit Installation

Choose a suitable water tank for the installation. This is not included. Below are some examples of suitable tank sizes:

• E-Matrix: approx. 200 ml of water per hour
• E-Matrix Linear: approx. 400 ml of water per hour
• Cassette/Mistero 500: approx. 200 ml of water per hour
• Cassette/Mistero 1000: approx. 400 ml of water per hour
• e-Slim Linear 1200/450: approx. 400 ml of water per hour
• e-Slim Linear 1700/450: approx. 600 ml of water per hour
• e-Slim Linear 2200/450: approx. 800 ml of water per hour

A 10L tank will provide the following operating times:

• E-Matrix: approx. 50 hours
• E-Matrix Linear: approx. 25 hours
• CAS500: approx. 50 hours
• CAS1000: approx. 25 hours
• e-Slim Linear 1200/450: approx. 25 hours
• e-Slim Linear 1700/450: approx. 16.5 hours
• e-Slim Linear 2200/450: approx. 12.5 hours

A drill is required to make a hole in the water tank (fig. 3.1 in the installation manual) to mount the tank fitting. The drill bit or hole saw should have a diameter of 16-20 mm. Please select an appropriate hole saw or drill bit for the material the tank is made of.

Placement of Pump and Water Tank

Find a suitable location for the pump box and water tank that meets the following requirements:

• Easy tank refilling
• Easy tank cleaning
• Within 2 meters of the product
• Easy access for future service and maintenance of the pump box
• Sufficient distance to prevent water splashes on electrical parts

Important: The pump box must be placed below the outlet of the water tank (Fig. 1 in the installation manual) to ensure the pump can be filled with water. Note that the pump box must never run without a water connection. The tank and pump can be placed a maximum of 2 meters below the water level in the product's sump. It is not recommended to place the tank above the product.

Build a suitable stand for the water tank and place the pump box under the tank's outlet. The pump box can be placed on the floor or mounted using the holes on the back or side of the pump box (Fig. 2 in the installation manual). To use the holes, screw two appropriate screws into the mounting location with a distance of 90 mm. Leave 5-10 mm of each screw exposed and hang the pump box on the screws.
