The Surtur 23" bioethanol fireplace insert is a practical solution for upgrading freestanding stoves or older open fireplaces to a modern bioethanol setup. It is ideal for situations where the chimney is closed or no longer in use, allowing you to enjoy real flames without smoke, soot or the need for a flue.
The insert can also be used for wall installation, making it possible to create a clean and understated fireplace feature with genuine flames. Its simple black finish and minimalist design allow it to blend naturally into both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Measuring 45.9 cm in height, 61 cm in width and 12.8 cm in depth, the Surtur 23" is well suited to fireplace openings and stoves where a horizontal flame display is desired. The included burner holds 1.8 litres of bioethanol, providing up to approximately 5.5 hours of burn time per refill. A 3kW heat output also delivers pleasant supplementary warmth to the room.
The frame is made from powder-coated steel and does not feature built-in heat insulation. When installing the insert into a wall or piece of furniture, it is important to ensure that surrounding materials are heat-resistant. If required, suitable insulation should be added to protect the structure and ensure a safe installation.
