The Forma 1200 Three-Sided is a premium built-in bioethanol fireplace designed to showcase the flames from three sides – the front, left and right. Combined with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS burner, it delivers a striking flame display enhanced by realistic decorative logs placed directly within the fire, creating depth, warmth and the look of a traditional fireplace.
This configuration is particularly popular for modern media wall installations, where the fireplace is positioned beneath a TV and acts as a natural focal point within the room. The recommended minimum room size is 70 m³.
Automatic Bioethanol Burner with FLOGS Technology
This version of the Forma 1200 Three-Sided is supplied with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS, Planika Fires’ advanced automatic bioethanol burner with integrated decorative logs.
The burner uses Planika’s patented BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology, where bioethanol is evaporated before combustion. This ensures a clean, stable and odourless flame, while keeping the logs free from soot and discolouration. The flame height can be adjusted across 6 levels, allowing you to fine-tune both ambience and heat output – whether the fireplace is used purely for atmosphere or as a supplementary heat source.
The burner can be controlled via remote control, a touch control panel on the unit or a mobile app. Smart Home integration is available with the optional SHS module. For added peace of mind, the system is equipped with multiple safety sensors, including tilt, temperature, overfill and CO2 sensors, ensuring safe and reliable day-to-day operation.
Materials and Finish
The Forma 1200 Three-Sided is constructed from galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish and supplied with tempered safety glass on all open sides. This creates a clean, timeless aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into contemporary interiors and minimalist media walls.
The glass panels help protect the flames from draughts and minor air movement, resulting in a calmer and more consistent flame pattern.
