The Cast Iron Griddle featuring a broad cooking surface diameter of 45 cm and weighing 7.7 kg. It is crafted from durable cast iron for longevity and exceptional heat retention. Its wide surface accommodate large quantities of food, catering to any crowd with ease. Infuse your dishes with the wood-fired flavours of oak, hickory, maple, and more, enhancing every recipe with rich, smoky notes.
Even novice chefs can quickly master open fire cooking with the Cast Iron Griddle's natural resistance to intense heat. It gradually and evenly heats up, maintaining perfect cooking temperatures with a single layer of burning embers. For optimal performance, ensure a shallow bed of embers in your fire pit’s burn chamber. Keep flames low, no higher than a few inches when using the Cast Iron Griddle. Treat it like traditional cast iron; the non-stick quality develops after 8-10 seasonings. Allow an extra 30 minutes before cooking to season it.
Never place the Cast Iron Griddle directly over your fire pit without the Hub.
How to clean:
Wipe away grease and crumbs while the iron is hot using tongs and rags. Remove the Griddle from the Hub with heat-resistant gloves, then rinse with hot water. Stubborn residue can be tackled with a cast iron scrubber and hot water. Thoroughly dry after cleaning; never soak or submerge in water. Apply a light coat of seasoning oil before storing. Regular seasoning with oil keeps it non-stick.
